The trio of new Sonic Lego sets join an already impressive lineup of playsets and display models themed around the Sega mascot. Sonic made his first appearance in the Lego Ideas line back in 2022 with the Green Hill Zone Display Model shown above. The 1,125-piece set recreates the iconic first zone from the original Sega Genesis game. It remains the largest Sonic Lego set, and it’s also available for the biggest discount right now. Amazon and Walmart are selling Lego Sonic Green Hill Zone for 30% off.
Last fall, a 720-piece Shadow the Hedgehog Display Model released for $70 exclusively at the Lego Store and Target. The rest of the Lego Sonic products are playsets like the new ones or Brickheadz figures. Several Sonic Lego sets are retiring soon and are already sold out at multiple retailers.
Most notably, if you want the Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge, you should grab it while Best Buy still has units for $81 (was $100). The 802-piece playset is sold out at other major retailers.
Meanwhile, Barnes & Noble has four other soon-to-be retired Sonic Lego sets for retail price: Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot for $60, Tails’ Workshop for $40, Amy’s Animal Rescue Island for $50, and Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge for $35. That last one is fairly similar to Campfire Clash.
