Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Preorders – Editions, Bonuses, Game Pass Deals, Branded Gear, And More

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases next Friday, October 25, for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. If you haven’t preordered a copy yet, there’s still time to secure the standard physical edition with release-day delivery at major retailers. Black Ops 6 is also available digitally for the same price, and there’s a $100 Vault Edition that comes with extra content.

All that said, for the first time, you don’t actually need to pay $70 to play the latest Call of Duty on launch day. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass for both Xbox and PC on October 25. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the game on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC right from the jump. Microsoft has removed its 14-day free Game Pass trial ahead of the game’s launch, but we’d recommend buying a 3-Month Game Pass Ultimate subscription from Amazon for $45. This gets you Game Pass Ultimate for $15/month versus $20/month directly from the Xbox Store. Only need access to the PC version? A 3-Month subscription to PC Game Pass is $30 at Amazon versus $12/month ($36) on the Xbox Store.

You actually don’t even need an Xbox or PC to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Cloud Gaming, a library of hundreds of games you can stream on various devices, including smartphones, laptops, and even 4K Fire TV devices. Black Ops 6 lands on Xbox Cloud Gaming on launch day, and Amazon has a terrific bundle deal containing everything you need to start playing: an Xbox Wireless Controller, Fire TV Stick 4K, and 1-Month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $75. The Fire TV Stick 4K bundle saves you up to $62, and you can even get the new Special-Edition Sky Cipher Controller as part of it. An $80 version of this Xbox Cloud Gaming starter kit comes with the speedier Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and opting for this one saves you up to $67.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 preorder bonus

Preordering Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gets you the Frank Woods Operator Pack bonus. This adds Frank Woods–one of the main characters from previous Black Ops titles–as a playable character in select Black Ops 6 modes once the game launches. You will also be able to use Frank Woods immediately in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone with three unique skins:

• Numbers Woods

The Frank Woods Operator Pack is available for all versions of Black Ops 6, including Game Pass subscribers. Digital preorders and Game Pass users will also get the Reflect 115 Camo Pack.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 physical and digital editions include the base game and Frank Woods Operator preorder bonus. It’s available to preorder now at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop.

Three different physical editions are available: PS5, Xbox, and PS4. The PS5 disc version only works on PS5, while the other two have cross-gen compatibility. The PS4 disc grants a free upgrade to the digital edition for PS5–the disc must be in your console while playing–and the Xbox disc has Smart Delivery for Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

The digital-only Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Vault Edition includes the preorder bonuses and a bunch of additional content. The Vault Edition’s exclusive content includes:

You can preorder Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Vault Edition for $100 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Game Pass subscribers can get the Vault Edition content as a $30 add-on.

Save on 3-Month Game Pass Ultimate & PC Game Pass at Amazon

As mentioned, Black Ops 6 will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library at launch. You won’t miss out on anything by opting to play on Game Pass on Xbox, PC, or even with Cloud Gaming on your preferred game streaming device. Game Pass Ultimate comes with the full Xbox and PC Game Pass libraries, online multiplayer, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Game Pass Ultimate costs $20/month from the Xbox Store, but you can save by buying 3-Month subscription vouchers at Amazon for $45. Amazon is the only major retailer still selling these codes for $45. If you don’t want to commit to three months, you can snag a 1-Month Game Pass Ultimate code for $17–three bucks less than Microsoft’s price. But keep in mind that other big Game Pass games are around the corner, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on December 9.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is stackable up to 36 months, which means you can buy several 3-Month vouchers and save even more. You’ll wind up paying $60 less for one-year of Game Pass Ultimate through Amazon versus the Xbox Store.

PC Game Pass 3-Month vouchers are $30 at Amazon; you’d spend $36 subscribing directly from Microsoft. Unfortunately, you cannot stack PC Game Pass prepaid codes and Xbox Cloud Gaming is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate.

Victrix Pro BFG Call of Duty Controllers

Thi Victrix Pro BFG is a customizable wireless controller with swappable components and features designed for competitive gaming. The left stick and D-pad can swap positions, which means you can choose whether you want aligned sticks or offset (like Xbox). It has four built-in back buttons that can be remapped on the fly as well as customizable trigger locks to shorten the pull distance of the right and left triggers. The module on the right can be removed and replaced with a six-button microswitch fight pad. We wouldn’t recommend trying to play Call of Duty with one analog stick, though.

The new Call of Duty Field Op model releases alongside the game on October 25. If you’d prefer a blue model, last year’s Call of Duty Midnight Mask model has been restocked for the same price. Both controllers are compatible with PS5, PS4, and PC.
